Helen Gradstein
Founder
Helen Gradstein is the founder of Exponential Education. Helen graduated with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from UC, Santa Barbara and has her Master's in Global Policy focusing on International Education and Impact Evaluation. Helen has also worked for Innovations for Poverty Action conducting a large-scale evaluation and for Child and Family Research Partnership as a data analyst designing and coding metrics and indicators to monitor and evaluate Texas state childcare policies. Helen currently resides in Washington, DC.
Amber Shevin
Board Member
After first starting with Exponential Education as a Program Manager, Amber has served as both the Director of Operations in the field and as a member of the organization's leadership team. She has Master's and Bachelor's degrees in International Relations and has spent time living, working and traveling across much of sub-Saharan Africa. Amber currently works for the non-profit Pencils of Promise as their Ghana-based Programs Manager. She currently resides in Ho, Ghana.
Denisse is a member of the Executive Board of Exponential Education. Denisse has Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Economics. She is an international consultant to governments and multi-donor organizations focusing on energy policy in Africa and Latin America. Denisse is currently based in Mexico City. Before becoming a consultant, Denisse spent one year in Ghana's Ashanti Region working as the Director of Operations for a local NGO working in education.

Adam Biddle
Board Member
Adam Biddle joined the Exponential Education team in early 2013 as a Program Manager in Ghana while he was serving as an education volunteer with the Peace Corps. Adam has his Master's Degree in Biochemical Engineering and currently works as an Engineer with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Michigan where he resides. Adam is passionate about education and spreading Expo programming to the neediest of areas.

Interns
Expo is committed to providing training and development opportunities for as many young adults as possible. Through our partnership with No Business as Usual - a youth employability program in Asakore Mampong Municipality - we provide short and long term internships for young people looking to learn about gender issues and at the same time give something back to their community.
